Part of my steampunk series. A colour version of this photo is "Breathing in Brass"... link below.

Model: Sophie :iconnotalabaster:
Photographer: James :iconcyber-soldier:

I remember holding my breath as this photo was being taken and trying to maintain the position until I heard the shutter click. Then I had to be quickly unlaced so that I wouldn't faint. The corset is very beautiful and very comfortable but for the purposes of this shoot it had to be laced up almost to the absolute limit!

I would love any helpful feedback you care to offer :D

I love that setting. The church and graveyard are perfect.

Thank you very much :D I don't really get the steampunk thing either but I love the aesthetic with its focus on mixing industrialisation and Victorian clothing... it's perdy!

When I [eventually] come to see you, don't be surprised if that corset of yours coincidently goes missing at the same time... tis so cool! Saw some corsets like that before on the internets and I wanted one so bad and now you have one and it's not fair! xD

Awesome set of photos :D Although I suppose the location is more gothic than steampunky. Can't help but feel that you look a bit out of place... or is that just me? :P meh... but yh, insanely jealous of the outfit!

I want to watch the airships too...
